Open the "resources" folder and it's in there!įiles in that folder will likely be overwritten on updates. You have to right click on the darktable application and select "open package contents". I found the location of the lensfun folder. It should probably be picked up automatically as far as I'm aware. If I create a lensfun directory, how do I tell darktable to use that directory? You can add stuff to the lensfun database from your homedir, which is probably the best approach: I have looked in usr/share/ for a lensfun folder but cannot find it. I haven't separately installed lensfun, as there does not appear to be a simple installation procedure and I cannot compile programs. I have a mac running OSX mavericks and have darktable 1.4.2. I am good enough to edit the xml file that stores all the correction data, but for the life of me I cannot find it on my computer. My camera (Lumix DMC-LF1) is not recognised for lens correction by darktable, and has some pretty decent distortion at its fastest lens setting. I really only interested because I want to take better than average pictures of my little boy. This documentation is released under the GPL 3.0 license.New to photography and darktable.
